DRET Academy

Grangewood Brickwork are proud to announce the completion of The Bobby Moore Academy, part of the David Ross Education Trust (DRET). A multi-use games establishment within an educational facility located in the heat of London’s Stratford Olympic Park.

Works involved the supplying and laying of bespoke bricks and blocks to construct internal and external walls for the new school building.

The unique design on the exterior wall depicts the movement of an athlete’s silhouette, perfectly representing the games department of the building. Expertly crafted with the use of black and white bricks in coloured mortar, this particular unit, as part of the educational campus is designed to promote community use and maximise opportunities with sports and educational facilities, making them easily accessible without disturbing the main school grounds.
