This year we were again asked for assistance by the Mineral Products Association with providing apprentices to showcase their skills and provide a live demonstration of traditional Brickwork at this year’s Eco Build event.
Once again the challenge was met fantastically well by our first year apprentices who started with Grangewood Brickwork in September 2016, their behavior was impeccable and they showed maturity beyond their years in dealing with and answering questions from the general public.
Mentored and supported again by our Project Manager, Reece Reynolds, last years apprentices Leon, Lewis, Kai and Craig also pitched up to show moral support and encouragement.
The feedback received from numerous visitors to the stand over the course of the two days has been very good, a very positive experience, and one the whole brickwork team can all be proud of.
A big thank you to all, especially our apprentices who I am sure have massive careers ahead of them.
