Trenchard House

Grangewood Brickwork are pleased to announce that works have recently commenced on a new residential development in heart of London’s Soho for ¬†Balfour Beatty.

Built on Broadwick Street in the heart of Soho and on the site of a demolished 1930’s hostel, Trenchard House is a contemporary mixed-use building built to high sustainability standards. It will incorporate residential units, including 65 affordable homes and 13 private apartments, with additional retails space at ground floor level and restaurant facilities in the basement.

During the official “Topping Out” ceremony the project played host to the Deputy Prime Minister, Nick Clegg, who felt keen to show off his skills at bricklaying and was also interested to hear the expert views of our Senior Contracts Manager Danny Marsham and Site Manager, Peter Taylor, regarding the current status of the building industry in London.
