This year we were again asked for assistance by the Mineral Products Association with providing apprentices to showcase their skills and provide a live demonstration of traditional Brickwork at this year’s Eco Build event.
Once again the challenge was met fantastically well by our first year apprentices who started with Grangewood Brickwork in September 2016, their behavior was impeccable and they showed maturity beyond their years in dealing with and answering questions from the general public.
Following our involvement again this year with Eco-build back in March and in particular in recognition of the practical demonstrations given by our apprentices, Peter, Ryan and Keighan, we were invited guests of the Mortar Industry Association at their annual Lunch held on May 4th at the Royal Overseas Lounge, where the three apprentices received applause from the room and a gift to acknowledge their efforts.
